Software solution
Restaurant Management Software from Front of House to Kitchen
Take orders at the table, route them to the right kitchen station, control food cost and see every site's performance in one place.
What our restaurant management software does
Restaurants run on timing. An order taken at table six has to reach the grill and the pass at the right moment, the bill has to split cleanly, and the stock used has to show up in tomorrow's ordering. Syntrix Restaurant connects all of that: table-service POS, kitchen display screens, online and delivery orders, reservations, recipe costing and reporting.
It is built on the same core as our POS software, with the extra workflows hospitality needs — courses, modifiers, table plans, tips and kitchen routing.
Who it is for
- Full-service restaurants that need table plans, coursing and split bills.
- Multi-site groups and franchises that want central menus and consolidated reporting.
- Dark kitchens and delivery-led brands juggling orders from several channels.
- Hotels, bars and cafés with mixed table, counter and room-charge service.
Key capabilities
Front of house
Handheld ordering at the table, table plans with live status, coursing, modifiers and allergens, split bills by item or amount, and tips.
Kitchen display
Orders are routed to the right station — grill, fryer, cold, bar — with timers and bump screens replacing paper tickets. The pass sees when every part of a table's order is ready.
Online ordering and delivery
Your own branded ordering page plus aggregator orders arrive in one queue, so the kitchen is not managing several tablets.
Recipes and food cost
Recipes link menu items to ingredients, so every sale depletes stock and theoretical versus actual food cost is visible by site and week.
Reservations and guests
Bookings, waitlists and guest notes (preferences, allergies, occasions) feed straight into the table plan.
Multi-site control
Menus, prices and promotions are managed centrally and published to chosen sites, with local overrides where you allow them. Area managers compare covers, spend per head, labour percentage and food cost across locations. Our restaurants industry page covers common operational challenges in more depth.
Implementation
We map your menu, modifiers and kitchen stations, configure floor plans and printers or screens, import recipes and suppliers, and train front-of-house and kitchen teams in short sessions around service. Most groups pilot one site before rolling out. Bespoke needs such as a custom loyalty app are handled by our POS development team.
Next step
Request a demo and we will run a full service — order, kitchen routing, split bill and end-of-day report — using a sample of your own menu.

Technical information & deployment
Deployment options
The back office is a cloud web application on Azure or AWS. Front-of-house POS runs on Windows terminals, iPads and Android tablets; handhelds run on Android or iOS; kitchen screens run on commodity displays with a small PC or Android box.
Offline resilience
Each site keeps a local copy of menus and open orders. If the internet drops, ordering and kitchen routing continue across the local network and sync to the cloud when the connection returns.
Data security
- Card data stays within the payment provider's terminal.
- Role-based permissions for voids, comps, discounts and refunds with a full audit log.
- Encryption in transit and at rest with daily backups.
Technical information
ASP.NET Core services, SQL Server, React back office and cross-platform front-of-house apps. REST APIs and webhooks connect delivery, accounting and rota systems.
Onboarding
We import your menu, modifiers, recipes and suppliers, design floor plans and kitchen routing with your head chef, and train staff in short sessions outside service. A pilot site goes live first; the remaining sites follow with a shared playbook.
Technology stack
- ASP.NET Core
ASP.NET Core is our default framework for secure web applications and REST APIs: fast, cross-platform and well suited to complex business logic and integrations.
- React
We build responsive, accessible React front ends for dashboards, portals and SaaS products, backed by clean APIs and a component library you can maintain.
- SQL Server
SQL Server and Azure SQL power many of our ERP, POS and reporting systems, offering strong transactional integrity, rich tooling and tight integration with .NET.
- Flutter
Flutter lets us ship polished iOS and Android apps from one codebase, with smooth custom UI and near-native performance, often at lower cost than two native apps.

What our clients say
We used to lose half a day's takings every time a store's broadband went down. Since the new tills went in, outages barely register, and head office can change a price at lunchtime and see it on every shelf-edge promotion by the afternoon.
Parents now have one app instead of four, and our office teams have stopped spending Monday mornings chasing absence calls. The migration was the part we worried about most, and the trial runs meant there were no surprises on go-live day.
The assistant resolves the repetitive how-do-I questions and hands everything else to us with a proper summary. Our agents spend their time on the tricky tickets now, and customers get answers at 2am without us adding a night shift.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can delivery platform orders go straight to the kitchen?
Yes. Orders from supported delivery aggregators and your own online ordering page arrive in the same kitchen queue as dine-in orders, routed to the right stations. Menu availability can be updated centrally so sold-out items are hidden across channels.
Does it work if the internet goes down during service?
Yes. Each site runs locally for ordering and kitchen routing, so service continues through an outage. Data syncs to the cloud when the connection returns. Card payments depend on your payment terminal's offline capability.
How does recipe costing work?
Each menu item is linked to a recipe with ingredient quantities. Every sale depletes ingredient stock, so you can compare theoretical food cost with actual usage from stock counts and spot waste or portioning issues by site.
Can we manage menus across several restaurants?
Yes. Menus, prices and promotions are managed centrally and published to chosen sites, with local overrides where you permit them. Group reporting compares covers, spend per head and food cost across locations.
