Service
Mobile App Development Company for iOS and Android
We plan, design and build reliable mobile apps for customers and field teams — cross-platform where it saves you money, native where performance demands it.
Apps with a clear purpose
The app stores are full of apps that were downloaded once and forgotten. The ones that stick solve a frequent, specific problem well: booking an appointment, tracking a delivery, recording a job on site, reordering stock. We start every mobile project by pinning down that core job and designing around it.
Cross-platform or native?
This is the first technical decision and it has real cost implications.
| Approach | Best for | Trade-offs |
|---|---|---|
| Flutter | Customer-facing apps with a custom, branded UI | One codebase for iOS and Android; excellent performance for most apps |
| .NET MAUI | Businesses already invested in .NET and C# | Shares code and skills with your ASP.NET Core back end |
| Native (Swift / Kotlin) | Heavy use of device hardware, AR or advanced background processing | Highest performance, but two codebases to maintain |
For most business apps, cross-platform saves 30–40% of build and maintenance effort. Our article on native vs cross-platform app development walks through the decision in more depth.
What a production-ready app needs
A good-looking prototype is the easy part. Production apps also need:
- Offline support with reliable sync, especially for field workers with poor signal
- Secure authentication including biometrics and token refresh
- Push notifications that are useful rather than noisy
- Crash reporting and analytics so problems are spotted before reviews mention them
- A solid back end and API — often the larger part of the work. We build these with our API development team.
Examples of what we build
- Customer apps for booking, ordering and loyalty
- Field service apps with job lists, photos, signatures and GPS — like our fleet logistics tracking app
- Patient-facing apps such as the clinic appointment app we built for a private healthcare group
- Companion apps for existing web platforms and SaaS products
Launch is the beginning
We handle App Store and Google Play submission, including privacy labels and review guidelines. After launch we monitor crash rates and usage, plan updates for new OS versions, and iterate on features based on real data rather than guesswork.

Benefits
Why invest in mobile app development
One codebase, two platforms
Cross-platform frameworks reach iPhone and Android users with a single team and shared code.
Works where your users are
Offline-first design keeps field teams productive in basements, warehouses and rural areas.
Direct line to customers
Push notifications and in-app messaging create a channel you own, independent of ad platforms.
Measurable adoption
Built-in analytics show which features are used, where users drop off and what to improve next.
Capabilities
What we build and deliver
Offline sync
Local storage with conflict-aware sync so data captured without signal is never lost.
Secure sign-in
Biometric login, single sign-on and secure token storage on the device.
Push notifications
Targeted, preference-aware notifications via APNs and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
Maps and location
Live location, geofencing, route display and address search for delivery and field apps.
Camera and scanning
Photo capture, document scanning, barcode and QR code reading.
In-app payments
Apple Pay, Google Pay and card payments through Stripe or your existing provider.
Process
How we deliver
A transparent, milestone-based process with working software at every stage.
Product definition
Define target users, core journeys and success metrics; choose native or cross-platform with clear reasoning.
UX design and prototype
Platform-aware designs and a tappable prototype tested on real devices with representative users.
App and API development
Sprints building the app and its back end in parallel, with test builds shared via TestFlight and Play testing tracks.
Device testing and beta
Testing across screen sizes and OS versions, plus a closed beta to catch real-world issues.
Store release and iteration
App Store and Google Play submission, launch monitoring and a roadmap of post-launch improvements.
Technologies
Technology we use for this service
- Flutter
Flutter lets us ship polished iOS and Android apps from one codebase, with smooth custom UI and near-native performance, often at lower cost than two native apps.
- .NET MAUI
.NET MAUI builds native Android, iOS, Windows and macOS apps in C#, a strong fit for organisations with .NET teams and line-of-business apps sharing back-end code.
- iOS
Native iOS development with Swift for iPhone and iPad apps that rely on the latest Apple frameworks, advanced device features or a fully native experience.
- Android
Native Android development with Kotlin and Android tooling for apps that need deep device integration, rugged handhelds or the latest platform features.

What our clients say
Parents now have one app instead of four, and our office teams have stopped spending Monday mornings chasing absence calls. The migration was the part we worried about most, and the trial runs meant there were no surprises on go-live day.
We used to lose half a day's takings every time a store's broadband went down. Since the new tills went in, outages barely register, and head office can change a price at lunchtime and see it on every shelf-edge promotion by the afternoon.
The assistant resolves the repetitive how-do-I questions and hands everything else to us with a proper summary. Our agents spend their time on the tricky tickets now, and customers get answers at 2am without us adding a night shift.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to develop a mobile app?
Costs depend on the number of screens, offline requirements, integrations and whether a back end already exists. A focused business app with a simple API is far cheaper than a consumer marketplace. We give a range after a short discovery workshop.
Should we build native or cross-platform?
For most business and customer apps, Flutter or .NET MAUI deliver near-native quality at lower cost. Native makes sense when you rely heavily on device hardware or platform-specific features.
Do you publish the app to the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. We prepare store listings, privacy declarations and screenshots, and handle submission and any review feedback. The apps are published under your own developer accounts.
Can you take over an existing app?
Yes. We start with a code and architecture audit, fix urgent stability issues, and then agree a plan to either improve the existing codebase or migrate it.
